Dart Hosts Meet Greet For Ceo Candidates

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is hosting a meet and greet event for the public to meet the candidates for the agency’s open president and CEO position on Saturday, July 11, from noon to 2 p.m.

Event Details

The event will be held at DART headquarters on Pacific Avenue, and attendees can take DART trains to the Akard Station. On-site parking is also available for drivers.

Although DART did not release the names of the candidates, they will be announced after the DART Board meeting on Friday, July 10. The agency is seeking public feedback for the position and wants finalists to hear what residents care about.

Former CEO Nadine Lee stepped down amid tension with DART’s member cities, including Addison, Highland Park, and University Park. The agency’s leadership structure was changed to give suburban cities more representation.
