Three Dallas-based companies, Energy Transfer, Sunoco, and USA Compression Partners, partnered with the Dallas Police Department to provide new tennis shoes to nearly 400 Dallas-area children. Over two days, patrol officers and company volunteers distributed 582 pairs of shoes to kids in need.
A Helping Hand
Pictures from the event show officers on bended knee, ensuring the kids got a perfect fit. For many of the children, it was the first pair of new shoes they had ever received. The partnership between the police department and the companies is a great example of community support for kids as they head back to school.
