Dallas Express and WBAP Host America 250 Celebration and 5th Anniversary Event

The Dallas Express, in partnership with WBAP, is set to host a special event celebrating both America’s upcoming 250th anniversary and the publication’s fifth birthday. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 1, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Longhorn Icehouse, located at 1901 W. Northwest Highway in Dallas.

Attendees can look forward to a live performance by country artist Rich O’Toole, who will be showcasing the deluxe 250th Anniversary re-release of his album American Kid. This celebration offers a unique opportunity for the community to come together in a festive atmosphere, enjoying music, drinks, and camaraderie.

The Dallas Express has grown significantly since its inception, expanding its local news reach with a growing digital audience and daily newsletter distribution. Its recent partnership with WBAP News Talk 820 AM and 93.3 FM further underscores its commitment to delivering quality local news.

General admission to the event is free, with various ticket options available for those seeking reserved seating and additional perks. A reserved two-top table is priced at $50, including two drink tickets, while a four-top table costs $100 and comes with four drink tickets. For a more exclusive experience, a VIP booth for six people is available for $200, offering six drink tickets, an exclusive meet-and-greet with O’Toole, and a DX swag bag. A larger VIP booth accommodating ten people is available for $400, including ten drink tickets and a pre-show meet-and-greet with the artist.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for those interested in supporting the event. Potential sponsors can reach out to Billy Macleod at 214-387-1710 or via email at [email protected] for more information.

Tickets and additional details about the event can be accessed through the QR code on the event flyer.
