Dallas Cowboys Secure All Draft Picks with Malachi Lawrence Signing

The Dallas Cowboys have successfully signed all their 2026 draft picks, marking a significant step forward in their offseason preparations. On Friday, the Cowboys finalized a deal with Malachi Lawrence, their 23rd overall pick from the University of Central Florida. Lawrence’s contract is valued at $20.2 million over four years, with a fifth-year option available, similar to other first-round selections.

First-Round Selections

Lawrence joins fellow first-rounder Caleb Downs, a safety from Ohio State, who was the 11th overall pick. Downs signed his $28.95 million, four-year contract on May 1, coinciding with the start of the rookie minicamp. Both players are expected to play pivotal roles in the Cowboys’ strategy as they aim to strengthen their roster.

Other Draft Picks

In addition to Lawrence and Downs, the Cowboys have secured contracts with their other draft selections. This includes third-round linebacker Jaishawn Barham and three fourth-round picks: offensive lineman Drew Shelton, cornerback Devin Moore, and defensive end LT Overton. The team also signed receiver Anthony Smith, their seventh-round pick, completing their draft class signings.

The Cowboys’ proactive approach in securing their draft picks early in the offseason reflects their commitment to building a competitive team. With voluntary offseason practices already underway, these new additions will have the opportunity to integrate into the team dynamics and prepare for the upcoming season.
