Crow Tribal Elder and Emcee of the First People’s Pow Wow Leonard Bends spoke with Sheridan Media’s Bob Grammens and Liz Kincaid about the history of the event. Bends mentioned that the powwow is one of the feature events of the day and that it has been going on for 26 years, started by Butch Jealous and the late Truman Jefferson.
