A crew member from the Regal Princess, which left Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades on Saturday, had gone overboard near Cancun. The company confirmed the crew member had died.

The company also thanks local authorities and the crew of the Carnival Jubilee, who helped in the search and rescue efforts. The Regal Princess resumed its voyage and departed the waters off Cancun, with the next stop Tuesday in Belize.
