Craving Kernels, a popular popcorn and sweets shop, is set to open a new location in Spring. The shop, which was founded by husband and wife team Randy and Tracey Harmon, has been a staple in downtown Tomball since 2018.
What to Expect
The new location will offer the same variety of goodies as the original, including over 80 different flavors of popcorn, homemade fudge and cookies, silly sodas, malt milkshakes, and Hershey’s ice cream. General Manager Julie Carranza said the shop will have more seating options for guests to enjoy their treats.
The shop is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, with Carranza saying, ‘When [customers] come in it feels like an old candy shop, and how we do things, and how we are with the customers, we treat them like family, along with the employees too.’ The new location is set to open in early July 2026 at 6925 Cypresswood Drive in Spring.
