Country singer Tyler Hubbard is sharing why his most recent musical project is special for him. During a recent interview, the 39-year-old musician spoke about the upcoming season of ‘The Chosen’ and his corresponding album, as well as how the television show brought the Bible alive for his children.
Faith and Family
Hubbard shared that he and his family watch the show together as a tradition, noting that ‘it’s really opened up our kids’ eyes to the gospel and to Jesus and how he lived.’ When the chance to write a song for the show came up, Hubbard admits he ‘was excited about the opportunity.’ The song, ‘All I Need Is You,’ is the first single from the new album inspired by the show.
Hubbard also spoke about a unique injury he had while on a recent fishing trip with his family. He got caught in a bush with his back cast and ended up with a treble hook stuck in the back of his head. His wife, Hayley, had to remove the hook, and their son took a video of the process.
