CoreWeave, an AI cloud computing company, announced its expansion into Indonesia with the addition of three new data centers in the country. This marks the company’s first data-center presence in the Asia Pacific region.
Expansion Details
The three data centers will have a total of 360 megawatts of contracted power, and CoreWeave will own and operate all three sites. The company will also build and train a local team to operate the new facilities, supporting Indonesia’s AI ambitions.
CoreWeave has been investing heavily in its data-center footprint to cater to the growing demand for AI cloud infrastructure globally. The company has struck several multi-billion-dollar cloud deals this year, including an expanded $21 billion deal with Meta and a multi-year agreement with Claude creator Anthropic.
