Multiple schools in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD have been placed on secure protocol due to an investigation at Colleyville Heritage High School.
The district said when secure is initiated, students and staff remain inside the building and conduct business as usual, but exterior doors remain locked and visitors are not granted access to the school.
Heritage Elementary, Heritage Middle, the Early Childhood Development Center, and iUniversity Prep have been placed on secure protocol as a precautionary measure.
The investigation at Colleyville Heritage High School is ongoing, and the district will provide updates as more information becomes available.
