Cody High School Hires 3 New Coaches

Cody High School has added three new head coaches to its staff for the 2026-2027 season. The Fillies have a new Head Volleyball Coach in Cindi Smith, who is no stranger to Park County. Coach Smith was at Powell High School for 17 years, winning 2 State Titles, one in 2008 and the other in 2013.

The Broncs will have a new Head Basketball Coach, Jeremiah Johnston, who is a familiar face on the sideline as the Cody Middle School Vice Principal and former Broncs JV Coach. The Cody Bronc Wrestling team will have a new Head Coach, Alex Smythe, who comes from Eden, New York, and holds the Eden High School all-time wins record at 227.
