Cleveland families can find free school supplies, backpacks, and other resources at several events across the city. Many giveaways are available only while supplies last, and some require children to be present.
Upcoming Events
On Saturday, Aug. 1, events will be held at 9900 Madison Ave., Estabrook Recreation Center, and East Cleveland Public Library. Additional events will take place throughout the month, including at the Cleveland Public Auditorium, Children’s Museum of Cleveland, and Frederick Douglass Recreation Center.
Each event offers a range of resources, including free backpacks, school supplies, food, and entertainment. Some events also provide haircuts, face painting, and health services. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children, as many events require kids to be present to receive supplies.
