About the charter amendments
The nine proposed changes cover a range of governance issues, including adjustments to the composition of the county council, updates to the budgeting process, and revisions to the procedures for public hearings. The amendments are intended to modernize the charter and improve transparency for Clark County residents.
Why the town halls matter
Providing a forum for direct dialogue aligns with the county’s commitment to open government and gives voters the information they need to make an informed choice at the ballot box. The commission encourages all citizens, especially families and community‑leaders, to attend or submit feedback so the final charter reflects the values and priorities of the county’s diverse neighborhoods.
