Cincinnati’s Union Terminal Featured in New Superman Movie

Cincinnati’s Union Terminal takes center stage in the new Superman movie, with the city’s iconic landmark serving as the Hall of Justice, the superhero headquarters made famous by DC Comics.

A Local Landmark on the Big Screen

Elizabeth Pierce, president and CEO of the Cincinnati Museum Center, has seen the film and says, “You’ll see the façade of the building and the interior of the rotunda — it’ll just delight you.” The connection between Union Terminal and the DC Universe isn’t new, with the landmark’s superhero legacy dating back decades.

For fans looking to dive deeper into Superman lore, the city of Harrison is home to Andrew Satterfield’s Atomic Vault, which is packed with rare collectibles and DC Comics memorabilia. Satterfield, who has seen the film, teases that there’s a scene that will get every Cincinnatian excited.

More Superman in Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Comic Expo returns this fall to the Sharonville Convention Center, running October 24-26, with several actors who have portrayed Superman, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor in attendance.
