Quan Hapa, a beloved Asian eatery in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, has announced plans to relocate and rebrand as Yô Đi. The restaurant, which has been a staple on Vine Street since 2012, will move to a new location at 1135 Vine Street, formerly home to the OTR location of Taste of Belgium.
Rebranding and Expansion
The decision to rebrand and relocate came after the owners began looking for a larger space to expand Quan Hapa’s menu. However, during the process, they decided to focus on Vietnamese cuisine, which led to the creation of Yô Đi. The new restaurant will feature a full-service Vietnamese kitchen and bar, offering a variety of unique menu items in a casual setting.
Yô Đi, which translates to ‘Go In!’ or ‘Let’s go!’, reflects an invitation to gather, celebrate, and share a meal together. The restaurant’s name also acknowledges its location at one of the main gateways between Downtown and Over-the-Rhine, inviting customers to experience the neighborhood’s offerings.
The menu at Yô Đi will include dishes such as noodles, noodle soups, banh mi, and main courses like Suon Cay Nuong and Portobello Brit Tet. Desserts, including Vietnamese Coffee Tiramisu and Pandan Crème Brûlée, will also be available, along with a selection of hot and cold coffee beverages from Lang Thang Coffee Co.
