ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) today revealed the next generation of leaders who will steer the nation’s premier association for digital‑health executives through 2029. The announcement includes three newly elected trustees, a new CHIME Foundation Board director, and the officers who will serve on the Board of Trustees beginning in 2028.
New Trustees Bring Clinical and Technological Expertise
Effective Jan. 1, 2027, the three newly elected trustees will begin four‑year terms. They are:
- Bonnie Boles, MD, MBA – Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer, Tanner Health
- Sarah Hatchett, MBA – Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Cleveland Clinic
- Inderpal Kohli, MS, PMP – Chief Information Officer, University Hospitals
Each brings deep experience in health‑care technology, clinical transformation, and executive leadership, positioning CHIME to continue its role as a trusted forum for senior digital‑health leaders.
Foundation Board Director Strengthens Provider‑Industry Collaboration
Also beginning Jan. 1, 2027, Eli Tarlow, Director of Healthcare Strategy at CDW, will join the CHIME Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation serves as a bridge between health‑care provider executives and technology innovators, fostering joint thought‑leadership and addressing the most pressing challenges facing the industry.
Board Chair and Upcoming Officers
Dr. Zafar Chaudry, MD, will assume the role of Chairperson of the CHIME Board of Trustees on Jan. 1, 2027. His leadership will guide the Board during a period of rapid innovation and transformation in health‑care delivery.
For the 2028‑2029 term, the Board of Trustees officers will be:
