A tragic shooting in Roseland has left a community in mourning after the death of Thomas Kevin Barlow, a dedicated Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) employee. Barlow, 57, was shot and killed on Monday in the 9900 block of South State Street.
A Life of Service and Kindness
Barlow was known for his infectious smile and unwavering protective spirit. He worked for the CTA for nearly 20 years and was a devoted member of the Prince Hall Masons and Shriners, where he gave back to the community through charitable work, especially helping children.
