Woods opened the tournament with rounds of 75 and 70 to make the 36-hole cut. However, he went out in 1-over 37 before any chance of advancing evaporated on the back nine. He made double bogey at the par-4 10th before bogeying the ensuing three holes.
After another bogey at No. 16, the Florida State commit managed a brighter finish with back-to-back birdies. Last year, Woods tied for ninth in the Junior PGA Championship.
