The City of Casper Recreation Division is hosting a Beach Day on Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at Highland Park, located behind the Casper Recreation Center. The event is open to all youth, age 13 and under.
Water Fun and Activities
The Beach Day will feature a variety of water-themed activities, including giant slip ‘n slides, inflatable water slides, water games, relays, and free swim time at the Casper Family Aquatic Center. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
Recreation Supervisor Mariah Hellmuth encourages families to attend, stating, ‘Come dressed to get wet, remember the sunscreen, and be ready for some water fun.’ An adult must accompany children under the age of 8, unless they are attending with a supervised summer recreation program.
Organized groups are encouraged to join the fun, and advance notice is appreciated to ensure enough supplies. More information about Beach Day, the Casper Recreation Division, or the Community Recreation Foundation can be found at the Casper Recreation Center, located at 1801 East 4th Street, or by calling 307-235-8383.
