Casper Man Dies in Crash

A 21-year-old Casper man died Saturday morning after his vehicle left the road and hit a light pole on King Boulevard.

Natrona County Coroner James Whipps identified the driver as Justin Dean Gale. Whipps said next of kin has been notified.

Casper police responded to the 1600 block of King Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13. A Wyoming Highway Patrol report states Gale was driving a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck a large light pole in the median.

Gale was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report. Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry.

The police department and the coroner’s office are continuing a joint investigation into the crash.
