Casper Celebrates America’s 250th

The Casper Downtown Development Authority is inviting the community to a special 250th Celebration Lighting Ceremony on July 2 at 8 p.m. in downtown Casper.

Celebrating America’s Anniversary

The ceremony will feature live music, food and drink offerings from downtown restaurants and breweries, as well as patriotic readings, creating a festive and reflective atmosphere.

The program will conclude with a community countdown to the ceremonial lighting of the 2nd Street Corridor, bringing the crowd together for a memorable moment in the heart of Casper.

According to Melissa Hugget, Executive Director of the Casper Downtown Development Authority, ‘Downtown Casper is where our community comes together and this moment is about showing up, side by side, to commemorate the 250th celebration of America’s Independence.’
