A community art installation is growing throughout the summer as people add their hopes for the future in Carpinteria, California. Artist Allison Gobbell created ‘Trees of Hope’ to celebrate the Carpinteria Arts Center’s 25th anniversary. Visitors are invited to write down their hopes and add them to trees in the center’s courtyard.
