Carnival Cruise Line has addressed a viral video showing a passenger using a fork to scratch their bare foot in a public dining area on one of its ships. The incident, which was posted on social media, sparked widespread criticism and concern over hygiene and cleanliness on the ship.

The cruise line responded to the incident on Instagram, stating that “forks are intended for food, not for foot care.” Carnival also emphasized that once they became aware of the situation, their team quickly addressed it with the guest and removed the utensil from service.
