A Vietnam veteran benefit car show was held in the AutoZone parking lot on West 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas, on Saturday. The event featured over 80 cars and collected donations for the Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter #278.

The donations will be used to assist local veterans in need, including help with electric or water bills. VVA#278 Member and ArkLaHomaTex Corvette Club President Johnny Richardson stated that the group has a monthly meeting to discuss applications for assistance and has helped veterans with various needs, such as paying their water bill or building special access ramps.
