Capstone Church officially opened its expanded campus in Fountain Inn on August 2. The expansion adds approximately 14,288 square feet of building space to the church’s existing campus at 601 Fairview St.
The larger campus will support Capstone Church’s growing congregation while also increasing opportunities to serve the surrounding community throughout the week. More than 750 people celebrated the grand opening of Capstone Church’s expanded campus on Sunday.
Vision and Community
Walt Tanner, vision and teaching pastor of Capstone Church, said the celebration represented more than opening a building. “It’s the fulfillment of a vision God has been growing in our church for years – a place where people can encounter Jesus, families can build meaningful relationships and our community can find hope and belonging,” Tanner said.
Every space was designed with the community in mind, and the church is excited to see how God uses this campus for years to come. The construction of the church’s “Advance the Kingdom” project began in August 2025 and took around 10 months to complete.
The project team consisted of P+F Construction and Equip Architects. Will Prescott, co-founder and vice president of field operations at P+F Construction, said this project was unique because the church continued to operate throughout construction.
