Camino Cafe, located in the Overbook neighborhood of Greenville, has expanded its menu to include coffee drinks inspired by cocktails. The cafe, which opened earlier this year as an addition to Camino Wine Merchant, has added a shiny new La Spaziale espresso machine and introduced three new drinks: the espresso sunrise, brown sugar, shaken, and cold brew sour.
Coffee Drinks with a Twist
The espresso sunrise is a refreshing blend of fresh squeezed orange juice, espresso, and tonic, while the brown sugar, shaken, is a simple latte with brown sugar and espresso shaken over ice. The cold brew sour incorporates components of whiskey or pisco sour into a coffee drink, blending lime, simple syrup, and egg whites with coffee for a smooth drink.
According to coffee curator Jae Cox, the addition of these new drinks is customer-driven, responding to Greenville’s espresso-centric nature. The cafe’s focus is on striking a balance between coffee nerd and casual coffee drinker, and these new drinks aim to cater to different types of coffee enthusiasts.
