Cadillac F1 Team has announced the appointment of Marcin Budkowski as its new Team Principal, effective immediately. This change is part of the team’s planned leadership transition as it evolves from its initial build phase into the next stage of racing performance.

Budkowski replaces Graeme Lowdon, the first Team Principal in Cadillac F1 history. According to Dan Towriss, CEO of Cadillac F1 team, ‘Marcin’s appointment marks another important step in the continued evolution of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team.’ Towriss expressed gratitude to Lowdon for his contributions to the team’s formation and foundation.
Budkowski brings over two decades of F1 experience, having worked with several teams, including Prost and Renault. He most recently served as Executive Technical Director at Renault, where he helped lead the team’s transition to Alpine.
The Cadillac F1 Team is looking to improve its performance, having yet to score a point in its inaugural season. The team will compete in the Dutch Grand Prix next weekend.
