Masked burglars broke into the residence of actor and producer Martha Higareda and her author husband Lewis Howes overnight in Studio City, multiple law enforcement sources told NBC4 Investigates.
Incident Details
At least two men broke into the home apparently by smashing rear glass doors. Police searched the home, but the intruders had already left the property. Details about what was stolen were not immediately available. The residents were not home at the time. No arrests were reported.
Higareda, born in Mexico, began acting at an early age and landed her first leading role in the 2002 film “Amar te duele” (“Love Hurts”). She has also had roles in several other films and the Netflix series “Altered Carbon.” Her husband, Lewis Howes, is a former professional athlete, podcast host, and New York Times best-selling author of “The School of Greatness.”
