A six-story brick building in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn, was evacuated on Monday night after reports of loose scaffolding. The incident occurred at 2265 Gerritsen Ave. between Knapp St. and Avenue V.
According to officials, all apartments in the back of the building were evacuated as a precaution. Members of the FDNY are securing the remaining scaffolding. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
