The La Junta Fire Department, along with the Kim Area Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Service, is responding to the Broce Fire located north of Kim and west of Highway 109 in Las Animas County.
According to officials, the Broce Fire is currently burning approximately 400 acres with no containment reported.
