The Milwaukee Brewers suffered a 3-2 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Friday night at Truist Park in Atlanta. Former Brewers minor leaguer Mauricio Dubon singled home two Atlanta runners in the sixth inning, and Mike Yastrzemski added a solo home run in the seventh inning.
The Brewers had taken a 1-0 lead in the third inning on a Brice Turang single that scored Blake Perkins. They added a run in the ninth off of Rafael Iglesias on a single by Turang that scored Christian Yelich.
Starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski allowed two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out seven, falling to 8-3 with the loss. Martin Perez got the win for Atlanta, giving up one run on six hits and two walks over six innings while striking out five.
The two teams will play again on Saturday, with Kyle Harrison starting for Milwaukee and Chris Sale starting for Atlanta.
