A series of ramp closures connected to the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project in Ohio have been temporarily delayed. The closures, which were originally scheduled to take effect this week, include the ramp from Interstate-71 northbound to Second Street, the ramp from U.S. 50 to Gest Street, and a lane on Second Street.
According to officials, the closure of U.S. 50 to Gest Street is expected to be permanent, while the ramp to Second Street will be closed until the fall of 2028. Second Street will be reduced to one lane between the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge and Elm Street through next spring.
Officials did not provide a reason for the delay and are working on new dates for the closures.
