Frisco families now have a local source for handcrafted, naturally fermented breads as BreadHaus opens its second North Texas bakery at 1606 FM 423, Suite 400. The new shop follows the beloved Grapevine location that has served the area since 1996.
Why Frisco?
Owner Fara explained that many patrons from Frisco were already making the drive to Grapevine for the bakery’s signature loaves. “We’ve met so many customers from Frisco who were already making the trip to Grapevine, and we wanted to bring the bakery closer to them,” she told Local Profile. “We also live close to the new bakery in Frisco and know it’s a growing community with families who care about what goes into their food.”
What Sets BreadHaus Apart
BreadHaus specializes in breads that are naturally fermented using organic flour, grains and seeds. The bakery does not rely on commercial yeast or preservatives, allowing each loaf the time it needs to develop flavor and texture. “Our bread takes time,” Fara said. “That means planning ahead and giving each loaf the care it needs.”
First‑time visitors are encouraged to try the bakery’s best‑selling sourdough and pretzels. For those with a sweet tooth, the menu includes chocolate‑chip cookies, pecan pie, cakes and brownies. Fara noted that the Frisco menu is still expanding, promising even more options as the new location settles in.
Continuing a Tradition of Community Care
The original Grapevine bakery taught the team that customers notice the care behind the food and remember the experience of visiting. “Grapevine taught us that people notice the care behind the food, but they also remember how they felt when they visited,” Fara said. “We’ve learned to listen closely to the community, keep improving, and never lose sight of the quality that brought them in.”
The Frisco bakery operates Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Its convenient hours aim to serve busy families and professionals seeking fresh, wholesome baked goods without a long commute.
Impact on the Local Economy
By adding a second location, BreadHaus contributes to Frisco’s vibrant small‑business landscape, creating new jobs and supporting local suppliers of organic grains and seeds. The expansion reflects the city’s ongoing growth and the demand for family‑oriented, quality food options.
Residents looking for a neighborhood bakery that values tradition, quality and community can now enjoy BreadHaus’ offerings just minutes from home.
