Hennessy’s, a beloved Irish bar in downtown Boston, has announced its closure after 30 years of operation. The bar, located at 25 Union Street, was a staple in the community and hosted many events and performances over the years.

A Facebook post from the Boston-based band OverTone expressed sadness over the closure, mentioning the many great nights they had at Hennessy’s and the memories they made with the staff and patrons. The band also announced that their scheduled performances at the bar have been canceled.
