The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court heard the case in April, which was brought by residents and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy against the City of Boston and the owners of Boston Legacy FC.
The lawsuit is over the renovation of the 76-year-old stadium, with the project cost being split between the city and Boston Unity Soccer Partners, allowing Boston Legacy to share the facility with Boston Public Schools.
A lower court judge previously found that the city’s project didn’t violate state law, but the Supreme Judicial Court was asked to review the decision.
