Boston, Glasgow Announce Partnership

Boston and the City of Glasgow, Scotland, are forming a partnership to create new opportunities for cooperation and growth. The announcement was made by Mayor Michelle Wu’s office, citing the positive relationship between the two cities during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Partnership Details

The partnership aims to build on the existing ties between Scotland and the United States, as well as the connections between the two cities’ communities. The announcement was made at The Haven, a Scottish restaurant in Jamaica Plain, and was attended by Mayor Wu, British Consul General David Clay, and Jason Waddleton, owner of The Haven.
