A recent visit to Yellowstone National Park revealed that bison are still very much in charge. The large animals roam freely, often wandering into traffic and causing jams.
Hayden Valley
On a recent Saturday, a trip to Hayden Valley in Yellowstone National Park was delayed due to a large bison traffic jam. The bison, accompanied by their calves, seemed completely unbothered by the presence of humans and their vehicles.
The visit to Yellowstone came after an incident the previous week in which an elderly man was chased and bucked by a bison, resulting in multiple broken bones. Despite this, the bison in Hayden Valley appeared to be going about their business as usual.
