Big Grove Brewery has introduced Tigerhawk, a new premium lager brewed to support the University of Iowa athletics program. A portion of the proceeds from every pour, can, and case sold will go directly toward Hawkeye athletics, ensuring the university remains competitive in collegiate sports.
Supporting Iowa Athletics
Tigerhawk is a crisp, refreshing lager designed to be the quintessential ‘Iowa Beer.’ It will be available year-round across the state, with increased availability heading into football season this fall. The beer will be offered in multiple formats, including draft, 12-packs, 24-packs, and individual 16-oz cans, at Kinnick Stadium and Carver-Hawkeye Arena during Hawkeye games and matches.
Matt Swift, co-founder and CEO of Big Grove Brewery, said, ‘Tigerhawk directly supports the Hawkeyes. We wanted to create a beer that Iowans are proud to hold — not just because it looks amazing and tastes great, but because every sip helps the Hawks win.’ Matt Henderson, Deputy Director of Athletics at the University of Iowa, added, ‘We are thrilled to see this partnership evolve into a product that fans can take home. Big Grove understands what’s at the core of Hawkeye fans, and Tigerhawk gives our fanbase a direct way to support our programs while enjoying a high-quality, local beer.’
