Beyond Iran: How the Trump Administration Is Targeting the Global Offshore Money Network

By OBBM Network Editorial Staff

Derived from an episode of Promethean Updates.

What if the most dangerous snake in today’s geopolitical arena isn’t a missile or a militia, but a hidden ledger in a British Virgin Islands trust?

The Offshore Money Machine Exposed

Scott Besant, the Treasury’s wartime secretary, warned on worldwide television that the United States now holds the ledgers for shell companies based in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). He explained that the BVI, a British overseas territory ruled by King Charles and administered from London, has “more registered companies than people,” with hundreds of thousands of entities serving a resident population of just 30,000. This concentration, Besant argued, makes the BVI the “shell company capital of the world” and a critical node in the offshore financial system that launders dirty money for regimes, cartels and, ultimately, the globalist order.

According to Besant, the Trump administration has already struck at similar havens in the fight against drug cartels and Venezuela’s Maduro regime. By publicly stating, “We are going to close all that down… after 47 years, it is over,” the Treasury signaled a decisive shift from covert operations to an open campaign against the financial infrastructure that fuels hostile actors.

A New Middle‑East Order Under Trump

The segment highlighted President Trump’s recent update on the military situation with Iran, but emphasized that the larger battlefields lie elsewhere. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum described a strategic realignment that moves global energy markets away from traditional choke points in the Middle East toward the Western Hemisphere. This mirrors the Trump administration’s broader effort to dismantle the “imperial model” of offshore finance and energy dependency.

In parallel, the episode noted the formation of the Mecca Joint Defense Alliance—a defense pact between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan. Israeli media expressed alarm, yet President Trump praised the agreement on social media, stating, “Very happy to see that Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have recently and finally signed the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement. It shows how the Middle East is coming together.” The alliance signals a shift toward regional security structures that are less dependent on traditional U.S.‑led frameworks.

The G20 Gambit: Re‑Engaging Russia

While the United States hosted the G20 in Asheville, Russia’s finance minister Anton Siluanov was invited to attend—a first since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. European officials, including Germany’s finance minister Lars Klingbeil, protested the inclusion, and the Russian minister was omitted from the official family photo. Nonetheless, Besant reportedly held a private meeting with Siluanov, underscoring the Trump administration’s willingness to engage Moscow on financial matters even as Europe seeks to keep it isolated.

Axios summed up the move: “The U.S. is re‑engaging with Russia while Europe remains intent on keeping Moscow isolated as the war goes on.” President Trump defended the decision, emphasizing his personal ability to “get along with everybody,” a stark contrast to the adversarial tone of traditional geopolitics.

China, Iran and the Shared Threat

When pressed about China’s role, Besant offered a surprising observation: “We have more in common with the Chinese on Iran than we disagree with on. The Chinese agree Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.” The comment, made during the same interview with Larry Kudlow, hinted at a possible convergence of interests between the United States and China in curbing Tehran’s nuclear ambitions, even as broader U.S.–China competition continues.

This alignment, however, is framed not as a bilateral partnership but as part of a larger assault on the “offshore money machine” that sustains both Iran and the globalist system. By targeting the financial venom at its source, the administration aims to cut the head off the snake while preventing the tail from wriggling back.

Implications for America and the World

The narrative presented by Susan Kokinda positions the Trump administration’s financial offensive as a cornerstone of a new foreign‑policy paradigm. By dismantling offshore havens, forging regional defense pacts, and selectively re‑engaging with former adversaries, the United States is reshaping the rules of global engagement. If successful, these moves could reduce the fiscal lifelines that enable hostile regimes, weaken the economic leverage of former colonial powers like Britain, and pave the way for a more autonomous, Western‑hemisphere‑centric economic order.

Critics may argue that such a strategy risks alienating allies and complicating diplomatic efforts, but supporters see it as a necessary strike against a system that has long profited from war, corruption and financial opacity. As the Treasury continues to publish its findings and the administration pushes forward with policy changes, the coming months will reveal whether the head of the snake truly stays buried.
