Beyoncé is giving fans a reason to celebrate this Fourth of July with the release of her surprise new single, ‘Morning Dew (Donk)’. This is her first new music since her Grammy-winning ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’ dropped in 2024.
The track doubles as a countdown clock, kicking off 60 days until the 20th-anniversary reissue of her 2006 album ‘B’Day’, which lands on September 4, also her birthday.
Although unconfirmed, fans widely expect a third album to complete the ‘Act’ trilogy she began with 2022’s ‘Renaissance’ and continued with the country-leaning ‘Cowboy Carter’. Speculation has pegged ‘Act III’ as a rock record, a theory fueled by her Halloween costume as rocker Betty Davis.
‘Morning Dew’ is now streaming on all major platforms.
