The Benton County Fair is back in Bentonville, bringing a fresh lineup of attractions for the community from Sept. 25 through Oct. 3. Held at the Benton County Fairgrounds at 7640 Southwest Regional Airport Blvd., the fair promises a blend of traditional farm exhibits and new entertainment options.
New attractions this year
One of the headline events is a hot pepper‑eating challenge featuring world champion Fiery Redd, who will attempt to break a Guinness World Record. The spicy showdown adds a competitive edge to the fair’s family‑friendly atmosphere.
Organizers are also adding a DJ dance party, giving visitors a chance to enjoy modern music alongside classic fair fare. The dance floor will be set up near the main midway, creating a lively gathering spot for teens and adults alike.
Traditional fair offerings
Beyond the new events, the fair maintains its beloved staples. Thirty‑five vendors will line the midway, offering everything from classic corn dogs and funnel cakes to regional specialties. Livestock displays feature prize‑winning cattle, goats, and poultry, while a petting zoo lets children get up close with sheep, pigs and cows.
“It’s really just a great time to bring the community together. People laugh, people meet new folks. It’s just a super fun time,” said Nakia Gully, executive director of the Benton County Fairgrounds. Free parking and gates opening at 4 p.m. on Friday make it easy for families to attend.
