The Cascade Cycling Classic Downtown Criterium is back in Bend, Oregon, on Sunday, June 21, with a full day of racing and community events. The event features a closed downtown course that starts and finishes on NW Wall Street near the Tower Theatre.
Racing and Community Events
Races begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. This year, organizers have added a new All-Bikes Ride, giving riders of all abilities the chance to take two laps on the course. Any non-gas-powered pedal bike is allowed, including e-bikes, and helmets are required.
A free Kiddie Race for children ages 0 to 8 will take place at 3:55 p.m., with water bottles, candy, and participation medals for young riders. The Horner Cycling Foundation Junior Team is scheduled to race from 3:25 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
