Jackson, WY – On Thursday, August 27, History Jackson Hole will host a free “Beers & Banter: Photography” happy hour at the Jackson Hole History Museum. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the program running from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on the museum’s outdoor deck, weather permitting.
Local photographers share their work
The evening will spotlight five Jackson‑area photographers:
- Brad Boner – a veteran photojournalist who has documented the American West for the Jackson Hole News & Guide since 2004 and authored a book retracing historic images of Yellowstone.
- Lina Collado – a Puerto‑Rico‑born visual artist whose project “A Disappearing Home” records Teton County residents facing a housing shortage.
- Ryan Dorgan – a Wyoming‑based photographer and production editor at WyoFile, known for chronicling the region’s wildlife, public lands, and development.
- Lisa Flood – a former lifestyle editor for the Jackson Hole News who captures the everyday people, places, and traditions of the West.
- Sam Pope – co‑founder of KGB Productions and former Teton Gravity Research contributor, who now enjoys still photography alongside skiing and river trips with his family.
Each panelist will discuss their experiences behind the lens, the history of photography in the Tetons, and how images shape public perception of the valley.
Event details
