Beck Haswell, a recent Sheridan High School graduate and two-sport athlete, has been named the top overall male athlete from the graduating class of 2026. He was awarded the 2026 Boys Milward Simpson Award, becoming the sixth Bronc to receive this honor.
Haswell was an all-state player in both football and basketball for the Broncs. He was a two-time all-state player and two-time 4A lineman of the year at SHS. Haswell was part of a Sheridan team that won the 4A football state championship all four years of his prep career.
He was named the Gatorade Wyoming Football Player of the Year in 2025 and was a two-time all-state performer on the basketball court. Haswell helped Sheridan win the 4A boys’ state championship in the 2026 season, their first title in 23 years and just the third in school history.
Haswell has signed to play football at the University of Wyoming. Ellie Talich from Cody won the girls award.
