Tierras Indígenas Community Land Trust
Tierras Indígenas Community Land Trust, a nonprofit, received a grant to purchase their building and now only pays property taxes. The organization practices community-ownership and indigenous land stewardship, aiming to create affordable housing, decommodify real estate, restore the environment, and provide accessible art spaces.
Deixis Gallery
Deixis Gallery, an independent exhibition space, runs on a generative incubator model, hosting salons and open-ended conversations on various topics. The gallery’s latest exhibition, Deny Yourself, features artwork that speaks to the culture of acceptance and self-determination.
The Woo
The Woo, a 27,000-square-foot building, hosts several large studios and envisions binational artist residencies, institutional partnerships, and diverse programming. The space aims to build bridges between local artists and communities, showcasing overlooked chapters of local history.
