A baby abducted from central Indiana was recovered safely just hours later at a Louisville bus station. Her suspected kidnapper, 22-year-old Jasmine O’Sullivan, of Georgia, is now in jail.
According to investigators, O’Sullivan used someone else’s identity to gain the trust of baby Adalyn’s mother in the days prior. Officers with LMPD’s First Division, specialized task force personnel, and SWAT prepared for the bus’s arrival and found O’Sullivan and the baby at the Greyhound Bus Station on West Muhammad Ali Boulevard.
The FBI took O’Sullivan into custody and reunited the baby with her family at Norton Children’s Hospital. O’Sullivan is now facing a federal kidnapping charge, according to LMPD.
