In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a road rage incident near Pleasant Valley in Multnomah County, Oregon, escalated into gunfire. Deputies are actively searching for the suspect involved in the shooting.
The incident took place around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of Southeast Foster Road and Southeast Richey Road. A 24-year-old man, driving a truck, passed a blue Ford Expedition SUV, which reportedly led to someone inside the SUV firing multiple shots at the truck.
Fortunately, the driver and his two passengers, a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were not injured in the attack. Investigators have confirmed that the truck was struck by several bullets, and shell casings were found at the scene.
Search for the Suspect
The suspect’s vehicle, described as an older dark blue Ford Expedition with a distinctive gold-colored bumper, was last seen heading eastbound on Southeast Foster Road towards Clackamas County. The SUV did not have license plates but appeared to have a temporary tag in the lower left corner of the rear window.
Both the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office have been involved in the search efforts, but as of now, the suspect remains at large.

Authorities are urging residents in the area near Southeast Foster Road, Southeast Richey Road, and SE 172nd Avenue to review any security footage or photos taken between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. on May 31. Any evidence of vehicles matching the suspect’s description could be crucial in the ongoing investigation.
