Austin Regional Clinic Opens New Specialty Facility in South Austin

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) has expanded its healthcare services with the opening of the South Specialty Clinic in South Austin. This new 63,000-square-foot, two-story facility is designed to provide comprehensive care with 12 specialty services offered by 36 physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs).

Comprehensive Care in South Austin

The clinic’s first floor includes 45 exam rooms, six treatment rooms, and facilities for lab and radiology services. The second floor houses 68 exam rooms, four treatment rooms, and cardiology labs. This summer, the ARC Surgery Center South will open, offering outpatient surgery services, further enhancing the healthcare options available to South Austin residents.

ARC Senior Operations Director Darlene Guynes highlighted the motivation behind the new facility, stating, “The plan for the new building is to house all of our specialists and surgical specialties. We do have a surgical center—an outpatient surgical center on the first floor—where we will provide comprehensive care, everything all-inclusive on the campus.”

Specialty Services Offered

Patients at ARC South Specialty can access a wide range of services, including dermatology, OLINO Medical Aesthetics, neurology, podiatry, rheumatology/infusion therapy, allergy and asthma, audiology, cardiology, ear, nose and throat, general surgery, orthopedics, and sports and musculoskeletal medicine.

ARC President and CEO Dr. Anas Daghestani remarked, “The opening of ARC South Specialty as part of ARC South Medical Campus is an important milestone for ARC, offering patients in South Austin access to more specialty, primary, and surgical care in one centralized location.”

Enhancing Local Healthcare

The new facility is located at the ARC South Medical Campus, which also includes ARC Surgery Center South, ARC South 1st Pediatrics, and ARC South 1st. Some physicians have been relocated from other ARC campuses in the Austin area, and new clinicians have joined, including a podiatrist, neurologist, and three APCs focusing on cardiology, ENT, and orthopedics.

This expansion is part of ARC’s mission to meet the growing need for coordinated, comprehensive, and accessible healthcare in South Austin and beyond, ensuring that residents have access to high-quality medical services close to home.
