The Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre will host a range of outdoor rock shows, including performances by Motley Crue, Jack Johnson, and John Mellencamp.
Outdoor Concerts
The BayCare Sound in Clearwater will also feature outdoor concerts, including a show by Devo and a unique pairing of Deep Purple and Kansas. Additionally, the Mahaffey Theater will host a performance by Chilean singer/songwriter Mon Laferte, known for her poetic and colorful indie rock music.
Theater Productions
In the world of theater, American Stage will host a “Theatre Flea Market” on August 7 and 8, featuring a sale of costume closet items, decor, and furniture. ThinkTank Theatre and freeFall Theatre will collaborate on a production of The Spongebob Musical, running from August 14 to 23. Jobsite Theater will also present a one-woman musical adaptation of The Odyssey, titled Penelope, from August 19 to September 6.
