Auburn Man Arrested After Hitting Victim With Car

Auburn police have arrested a man after he hit a pedestrian with his car. The incident occurred on Thursday in the 200 block of West Magnolia Avenue.

Officers found a 68-year-old man lying in the driveway and provided medical assistance. The victim was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical but stable condition.

Michael Alexander Sherril, 28, of Auburn, was arrested at the scene and is currently in the Lee County Jail on 2nd degree assault charges. His bond is $25,000.
